Fire burns 5 units at an abandoned hotel in Desert Hot Springs
Firefighters are battling a fire that has damaged at least five units at an abandoned motel in Desert Hot Springs.
The fire was reported at 6:11 p.m. on 4th Street and Mesquite Avenue.
Additional engines have been requested.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
