Join us Thursday as News Channel 3 partners with the SunLine Transit Agency for the 16th Annual Fill the Bus Holiday Food Drive.

Two busses that will serve as collection sites will be stationed in the Coachella Valley from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday.

SunLine is parking one bus in Palm Desert in front of the Walmart at 34-500 Monterey Avenue.

An additional bus will be located at the Ralphs in SmokeTree Village, at 1733 E Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs.

SunLine is asking the community to contribute non-perishable food items, turkeys and hams, and other assorted trimmings for holiday meals.

Other donations can include new packed toiletries, personal hygiene products, diapers, and other household items.

All donations to this year’s Fill the Bus Food Drive will support two local organizations: Well in the Desert and Martha’s Village & Kitchen.

Donations will be distributed to these organizations, thanks to the support of the Coachella Valley community.
