PSIFF announces sponsorship and marketing partnership with Oak View Group

The Palm Springs International Film Festival announced a new partnership with the Oak View Group on Wednesday.

The Oak View Group is the largest developer of sports and entertainment venues in the world and will tap its extensive connections to help identify and nurture new sponsorships for the festival, according to a statement released by the festival.

Dan Griffis, president of Global Partnerships for Oak View Group said, “We are excited to partner with the Palm Springs International Film Society to assist them in cultivating new sponsorship opportunities as the festival continues to fulfill its mission to serve as a beacon for cinematic experience around the globe.”

Festival Chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi said, “This is a significant partnership for us with the mutual goal of bringing greater awareness to the Festival, and exposure to the greater Coachella Valley.”

Oak View Group joins a number of other festival partners. It operates more than 300 venues across the globe, including the 11,000-seat Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert. It will receive ongoing support from the Palm Springs International Film Festival for its Firebirds Hockey and other entertainment events through a mutual marketing partnership.

“OVG is here to support both the people and events that are important to the residents of the Coachella Valley,” said Griffis.

The 35th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival runs from January 4-15, 2024.
