Holiday Shipping Deadlines USPS wants you to keep in mind

The United States Postal Service is tackling one of its busiest times of year.

They've already accepted a little over 8 billion pieces of mail and packages this holiday season.

USPS officials stated their commitment to affordable and timely shipping and mailing services for this holiday season online.

They've been preparing by improving technology, hiring more staff, and improving infrastructure.

They also recommend you keep the following deadlines in mind for the upcoming holiday season.

  • Saturday, December 16 to mail your cards and small packages
  • Monday, December 18 to send any Priority Mail
  • Wednesday, December 20 for any Express Mail deliveries to be delivered before Christmas
