Rain hits the Coachella Valley Thursday

A First Alert Weather Alert is in place. 

Rain is coming down in the Coachella Valley, and more is expected to come throughout the day. 

With an atmospheric river approaching Southern California, we expect moderate to heavy rain.

This time creates concerns for street and wash flooding.

Drivers should drive slow, turn on lights and allow room between themselves and other vehicles.
