Indio girls water polo wins thriller, advances to CIF-SS Division 6 championship

The Rajahs advanced to the Division 6 championship following their 14-13 win over Anaheim in the semifinals.

Indio was led by their two senior captains, Mia Buelna and Sienna Rodriguez, who combined for 11 of the 14 goals. Buelna had six and Rodriguez had five, while Jennifer Lopez added three.
The Rajahs will play El Modena for the title on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Mt. San Antonio College.
El Modena defeated La Quinta in the other D6 semifinal on Wednesday.
