Local agency works to empower farmworkers
The Agricultural Labor Relations Board is highlighting the rights of farmworkers.
An attorney with the agency's Indio office said that farmers face extreme conditions - like working in triple-digit heat.
The agency wanted farmworkers to know they are allowed to ask employers and owners for improvements, without retaliation.
The agency offers free services to farm workers.
