What to know about the death of a woman who was set on fire in a New York City subway train

NEW YORK (AP) — The man accused in the death of a woman who burned to death on a New York subway train has been indicted on murder and arson charges. Sebastian Zapeta was indicted on Thursday and lawyers appeared on his behalf Friday. Police say surveillance video from last Sunday showed a man approach the woman aboard a stationary train at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station and then set her ablaze. Zapeta was taken into custody later that day after police received a tip from a group of teenagers. Authorities are using forensics and video surveillance to identify the victim.
