Person suffers serious injuries after crash in Cathedral City

CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. (KESQ) - One person was taken to the hospital after a crash in Cathedral City Wednesday night.

The crash was reported just before 8 p.m. on Avenida Alvera, near McCallum Way.

Details on the crash remain limited. A News Channel 3 crew at the scene saw a vehicle on its side in the roadway.

One person was extricated from the vehicle. Authorities said the person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries and is currently in stable condition.
