Tackling issues in health care for local LGBTQ+ communities

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) - Palm Springs is known around the world as a welcoming place for the LGBTQ community. But even in a place where acceptance and visibility are high, health disparities have not disappeared.

On Wednesday, a special event presented by Desert Oasis Healthcare at the Mizell Center in Palm Springs will put LGBTQ health issues front and center.
