Shooters shoot: RMHS basketball standout Cash Gervin finds new passion behind the camera

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. (KESQ) -- When Cash Gervin isn't shooting baskets, he's shooting video.

The Rancho Mirage junior is known for his ability on the basketball court, but he's developing another skill off the court.

Call him "Camera Cash" or "Content Cash."

During a recent Rancho Mirage football game, Gervin could be seen on the sideline with a camera in hand, capturing footage of his teammates and helping create content for the Rattlers.

"I'm trying to get the team hyped up for the year, make some content, and I decided to get some content for them," Gervin said.

Gervin is the son of Caleb Gervin and has established himself as a standout basketball player in the Coachella Valley.

Now, he's embracing his new role behind the camera, balancing his time between athletics and a newfound passion for video production.

"I'm a two-way player, as they would call it," Gervin said with a laugh.
