Local businesses turn to AI for new tools and ideas

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif, (KESQ)- The Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce hosted its fifth annual Marketing Summit Friday, bringing together local business owners, entrepreneurs and industry experts to talk about how technology is changing the way businesses reach customers.

This year, artificial intelligence was one of the main topics.

Speakers discussed how businesses can use AI to respond to customer questions, save time, analyze data and improve day-to-day operations. The summit also focused on social media, customer service, storytelling and building stronger relationships with customers.

The Chamber says AI is becoming a bigger part of how businesses operate, but experts also stressed that technology cannot replace every part of running a business.

Speakers discussed the importance of keeping a human connection, especially when it comes to building trust and long-term customer relationships. The event was held at the Rancho Mirage Library & Observatory and featured several speakers from across the Coachella Valley.

Organizers say the summit is designed to help local businesses keep up with changing technology while finding practical ways to grow and better serve customers.
