Stepson sought in stabbing death of retired LAPD officer

PALMDALE, Calif. (AP) — The stepson of a retired Los Angeles police officer is being sought for questioning in the stabbing death of his stepfather. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department named Tyrell Gay a person of interest in the stabbing death of Darryl Lee at a home in Palmdale on Wednesday. Authorities say Gay is considered armed and dangerous. No further details were released.
