Multiple injuries in Philadelphia bus shooting, following 3 fatal gunfire incidents in as many days
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Authorities in Philadelphia say another shooting involving a city bus resulted in multiple bystanders being injured Wednesday. The latest shooting took place in the afternoon in a northeastern neighborhood, said John Golden, a spokesperson for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, or SEPTA. The injured were people on the street, Golden said. The were taken to Einstein and Torresdale hospitals. The bus was hit by gunfire. Monique Braxton, Deputy Chief of Communications for Philadelphia school district, said the shooting was near two schools, Northeast High School and Crossan Elementary, but she didn’t know whether any students were victims.
