SD County man arrested for allegedly having guillotine near U.S. Capitol

JULIAN, Calif. (KESQ) - A Julian man was arrested today near the U.S. Capitol on suspicion of having a guillotine in the bed of a pickup truck.  

The truck was spotted around 3 p.m. illegally parked along the 100 block of East Capitol Street, according to U.S. Capitol Police.   

Philan-Tam-Duy Le, 35, was arrested on suspicion of carrying a dangerous weapon.

According to a Capitol Police statement, Le drove to Washington, D.C., from California.  

"USCP investigators are going through the suspect's background to learn more about why he came to Washington, D.C.,'' the statement concluded.
