Two arrested in connection with the murder of a Cabazon man missing since Aug. 2021
Two men are in custody in connection with the murder of a Cabazon man missing since August 2021.
Richard Seevers, 59, of Banning and Frank Mansfield, 48, of Cabazon were arrested for their role in the murder of Dillon Entler, 31.
Entler was reported missing on Aug. 26, 2021.
Enter's family told News Channel 3 that he went to hike at the Cabazon mountains and never returned. The Riverside County Sheriff's Office said Entler was reported missing by family members who had not seen or heard from him in three days.
The agency revealed that during the investigation, evidence was obtained showing Entler was likely deceased and the victim of a homicide.
Investigators with the Central Homicide Unit were notified and began working the case as a no-body homicide. Entler’s remains have still not been located despite numerous attempts by law enforcement and volunteers, the agency noted.
Seevers and Mansfield were arrested on Thursday. They were each charged with one count of murder. Both were in court on Monday, however, their arraignment was continued to Aug. 21.
Seevers and Mansfield remain in custody on $1 million bail.
