Mayor Jeffrey Bernstein discusses city’s new ‘Engage Palm Springs’ website

The city of Palm Springs is trying to get more people to use its new website which aims to provide updates on multiple projects.

It's called "Engage Palm Springs," and it launched about a month ago. Not only can people click through to learn the latest about all the city's projects, including the new homeless navigation center, they can contribute ideas and ask questions.

"We have a lot going on. between homeless issues, between our road issues, between our new library and events going on that it's really important that there's a single, easy to reach source of information for everybody," Palm Springs Mayor Jeffrey Bernstein told News Channel 3's Peter Daut.

Bernstein added, "We have an extremely engaged community. people like to ask questions, they have comments, they like to give feedback, and this really gives them an opportunity to do that, and where to go for information."
