Palm Springs proclaims Aug. 11 as ‘Splash House Day’ in the city

The Palm Springs City Council will honor the 10-year anniversary of Splash House with an official proclamation. The proclamation names August 11th as Splash House Day in the city of Palm Springs.

"Splash House has grown from one event in 2013 to three weekends spanning the summer
season, attracting a new generation to Palm Springs," reads the city's proclamation.

According to the city, the festival had a $20 million-dollar economic impact across the three weekends in 2022 alone with more than 50,000 fifty thousand room nights in local hotels.

The proclamation comes as the festival prepares for its first of two weekends in August, kicking off on August 11-13. The festival returns again on Aug. 18-20 for its last weekend of the year.

The weekend 2 lineup has been released, set times are expected to be posted soon.

Field Trips have also been announced for both weekends, it includes a natural wine tasting, drag brunch, and more.
