COACHELLA VALLEY, Calif. (KESQ) - News Channel 3 I-Team Investigator John White continues his reporting on sky-high electric bills in the Coachella Valley.

Southern California Edison ratepayers typically pay much higher bills than Imperial Irrigation District customers.

SCE's rates are approved by the California Public Utilities Commission and allow SCE to make a profit while delivering reliable electricity to its customers.

We're working to get answers on how much profit and the other factors that go into producing electric bills that many valley ratepayers consider anything but affordable.

Hear from a CPUC Commissioner and local State Assemblyman Greg Wallis on the challenges driving those bills.
