In-Depth: The Race against Climate Change

The 2024 election is just days away and climate change is an issue that is top of mind for many voters, especially here in the Coachella Valley.

The Coachella Valley is also home to a number of very competitive races on both the state and national levels.

Over the course of several weeks, I reached out to the candidates for California’s 41st congressional district and California Assembly District 47 to give them an opportunity to share their plans on how they intend to tackle climate change.

While Will Rollins, Christy Holstege, and Greg Wallis agreed to meet with us, Congressman Ken Calvert did not accept our multiple interview requests.

You can watch the full story, as well as the full interviews of each candidate above. We should note that the full interviews have been edited slightly to account for water breaks, repeating questions, unrelated comments/questions, checking the camera settings, etc. While these small parts have been removed, the candidates' answers have not been edited.
