Landslides and floods have wreaked havoc in Nepal and China. Follow the river down the path of destruction.

(CNN) — Massive landslides and catastrophic flash floods have wreaked havoc at the Nepal-China border, destroying houses, wiping out bridges and killing at least 675 people since the landslide on August 26. Additionally, about 3,000 people are still unaccounted for on both the Nepali and Chinese sides of the border.

More rain is expected in flood-affected areas this weekend and officials are closely monitoring two newly formed lakes created by the landslide, which have fueled concerns about further flooding.

Video footage and satellite imagery shows the immense scale of the disaster in some of the areas hit hardest by the floods.
