Deputies investigating Coachella shooting, no victims found

Riverside County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting in Coachella.

At 11:54 a.m., deputies received a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the area of 2nd street and Vine Avenue. A short time later, deputies arrived on scene and found evidence of a shooting.

Neighbors told News Channel 3's Dani Romero that they heard gunshots shortly before RSO arrived on scene.

Deputies cordoned off the area and the scene was still active at 1 p.m. No victims were found, but one person was detained.
