Local conference aims to help women going through grief: abuse, divorce, addiction, infidelity

womens conf

A local conference is being held Saturday to support women. It’s designed to help women who are going through any kind of overwhelming pain. Organizer Carol Teitelbaum says speakers will address childhood and domestic abuse, drug or alcohol addiction, infidelity, those going through a divorce, or any kind of grief or loss.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s a #metoo movement issue, if it’s a divorce or grief or loss, or anything that has hurt us. So many times we just push that away because we’re taking care of other people,” said Teitelbaum.

The conference will have a series of "creative" and collaborative exercises/workshops designed to build strength and community. You can get tickets here or by showing up at the door.

It is being held at the Annenberg Health Sciences building at Eisenhower in Rancho Mirage from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm on Saturday February 29, 2020.
