All roads are now open in Palm Springs, after Indian Canyon is opened on Friday

Friday 11:30 am Update: The city of Palm Springs opened Indian Canyon Drive at the wash Friday morning. All main roads in Palm Springs which includes Gene Autry Trail and Vista Chino are all open.  Both Vista Chino and Gene Autry are down to one lane in both directions due to water still flowing through the wash areas.

Wed 1pm Update: Gene Autry Trail was re-opened.

Tuesday's rain has resulted in continuing road closures in Palm Springs.

Indian Canyon Drive and Gene Autry Trail were both closed at the wash due to flooding since Tuesday.

Vista Chino is still open.

While there wasn't much rain that hit the Coachella Valley yesterday, runoff from the mountains has created flooding in these areas.

If you typically drive on Gene Autry Trail or Indian Canyon Drive, find an alternate route.

Recognize the road signs and do not pass them. Flooded roads create many dangers for drivers.
