Traffic Alert: All Palm Springs roads at the wash are now open

All roads are now open, Palm Springs opens Indian Canyon on Tuesday. Vista Chino and Gene Autry were opened on Monday.

Palm Springs Police Department opens Gene Autry Trail at the wash at 10:30am Monday. East Vista Chino opened around 8:00 am. Indian Canyon at the wash remains closed at this time.

Palm Springs Police Department announced that Vista Chino wash between Clubhouse View and Palm Springs' city limits closed at of 4 p.m. Sunday.

N. Gene Autry and N. Indian Canyon at the wash are also closed at well.

The Palm Springs Police Department announced two road closures Saturday afternoon.

It said N. Gene Autry from Salvia to E. Via Escuela was closed due to low visibility and blowing sand.

The department had also said that N. Indian Canyon from Palm Springs Station Road to Sunrise Parkway was also closed due to low visibility and blowing sand.

Vista Chino was still open as of 3:45 p.m. Saturday.

Drivers were asked to use caution when on local roads and to expect some delays.
