LGBT Days returning to Cathedral City

LGBT Days returns to Cathedral City for its 8th year.

The pride celebration marks the first pride event of the year, uniting hundreds of LGBTQ+ celebrities, artists, performers, and community members.

"We're really excited to celebrate our vibrant LGBT community," said City Events and Communications Manager, Ryan Hunt. "8 years has been fantastic."

LGBT days begin on Friday at 6:00 PM. The city will be raising a pride flag at town hall.

Following the flag raising, the community is welcomed to the Cathedral City amphitheater for a screening of "The Birdcage."

On Saturday at Agua Caliente in Cathedral City, a comedy show headlined by River Butcher will take place, featuring other LGBTQ+ comedians.

The comedy show will be followed by a drone light show.

The highly anticipated bed race will also be a part of LGBT days.

The bed race pre-party begins on Sunday Morning at 10:00 AM. The race will take off at 11:00 AM.

Bars throughout Cathedral City will offer LGBT Days specials following the screening and throughout the weekend.
