AP: Raul Ruiz wins reelection in CA’s 25th Congressional district
The Associated Press has proclaimed Dr. Raul Ruiz as the winner of California's new 25th Congressional District.

Ruiz was up big in the early results of the race, with 61% of the vote.
In the June primary, Ruiz earned 56 percent of the vote. Hawkins earned 16 percent.
News Channel 3 spoke with both candidates about the race shortly after the first results were released.
District 25 includes Hemet, Banning, Beaumont, Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City, the eastern Coachella Valley, all of Imperial County, and parts of San Bernardino County.
