Former Xavier Prep basketball captain signs to play in college

Justin McWay, former captain of the Xavier Prep High School basketball team, committed to play in the NAIA at Life Pacific University. The former Saints' guard announced the news on his Twitter account.

"I'm super excited about this opportunity, because I put in a lot of hard work. I'd like to thank all my previous coaches in the past, especially Coach Sobczyk, and my teammates from Xavier. I'd also like to thank my friends and family for always supporting me. I would especially like to thank God, because none of this would happen without him and I can't wait to see what the future holds," he said.
