2020 American Express Tee Times
Some of golf's biggest names are taking center stage in La Quinta for the 2020 American Express tournament.
Hosted by Phil Mickelson, the tournament features top-ranked players and a few young guns eager to make their mark on the pro levels.
Mickelson is paired with Tony Finau, the highest-ranked player on the field. They tee off Thursday at 8:40 a.m. at the La Quinta Country Club.

5-time PGA Tour winner Rickie Fowler is paired with Francesco Molinari, the 20th ranked player in the world. They start at 9:10 a.m. at the La Quinta Country Club.

Tournament defending champion Adam Long is paired with the 17th ranked in the world, Paul Casey. They're the first official tee off for the tournament, starting play at 8:30 a.m. at the La Quinta Country Club.
Locally, Palm Desert High School Alumni is playing with Sam Saunders, the grandson of the late great Arnold Palmer. They tee off at 10 a.m. at the La Quinta Country Club.
Just before them is Idyllwild resident Brendan Steele, who is with veteran Steve Stricker. They will begin at 9:50 a.m. at the La Quinta Country Club.
