RED DEER, Alberta (AP) — One of the NHL playoff series in the second round has an entire Canadian province buzzing. Calgary faces Edmonton in the best-of-seven showdown that begins this week. The city councils in each city have friendly wagers going. The matchup is welcome news in Red Deer, which sits halfway between the two cities. Bars are looking forward to being packed after two difficult years in the pandemic.
