Alex Esquibel to be new head football coach at Shadow Hills pending board approval

The Knights have decided on their new football coach and are staying within the program with the hire of Alex Esquibel.

This is all pending board approval on Tuesday, March 3.

Once approved, Esquibel will be replacing Ron Shipley who served as the first and only head coach in program history.

Esquibel has coached various different levels within the Shadow Hills football program, including freshman and junior varsity. He is now expected to take over the varsity team as the second head coach in program history.

Shadow Hills finished 4-6 overall in 2019, going just 1-4 in league play.
