Firebirds comeback from deficit to win 4-3 over Henderson Silver Knights

The Coachella Valley Firebirds (23-12-3-1) defeated the Henderson Silver Knights (19-19-1-3) 4-3 at the Dollar Loan Center.

The Silver Knights took an 3-0 lead over the Firebirds, however CV netted four answered goals by Luke Henman, Shane Wright, Andrew Poturalski, and Ryan Winterton.

Coachella Valley stepped it up on defense as they held the Silver Knights to nine shots in the final game 40 minutes of the game.

Chris Driedger made 20 saves on the night to improve his record to 10-5-1.

With this win, the Firebirds are tied for first alongside the Tucson Roadrunners in the Pacific Division.

The Birds stay on the road and face the Texas Stars on January 26th at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. Puck drop is set at 5:00 p.m. local time.
