Brook Sibrian returns to the ring August 21 against unbeaten opponent

MVP

COACHELLA VALLEY, Calif. (KESQ) -- Local fighter Brook Sibrian is set to return to the ring Friday, Aug. 21, looking to make a statement against an undefeated opponent.

Sibrian will take on 22-year-old Lupita Medina in an eight-round bout at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula.

The 33-year-old Sibrian enters the fight with a 9-3 professional record, including four victories by knockout. She is coming off a loss and will face one of the toughest challenges of her career in Medina, who is a perfect 12-0.

Based on the records and age difference, Sibrian enters the fight as the underdog. But she sees the matchup as an opportunity to prove she remains among the top contenders in the sport.

"This is another opportunity to stay in the ecosystem of MVP, Most Valuable Promotions, kind of stamp my presence and show that I am an elite fighter and I am going to become a world champion," Sibrian said. "It's going to be a great fight come August 21st. Tune in on TikTok Live."

Sibrian is hoping the matchup can put her back on track toward her goal of becoming a world champion.

The fight is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 21, at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, with the event available to watch on TikTok Live.
