Anthony Hodge wins Week 7 High School Football Play of the Week

COACHELLA VALLEY, Calif. (KESQ) -- It was a tightly contested vote, but Desert Hot Springs senior star Anthony Hodge has been named the Week 7 winner of the High School Football Play of the Week.

Hodge earned the honor for a touchdown during Desert Hot Springs’ win over Indio on Friday night.

On the play, Hodge made multiple defenders miss while keeping his feet in bounds before finishing the run in the end zone. The touchdown was one of two Hodge scored in the game.

The Week 7 voting was conducted on the KESQ Sports Instagram page, with several quality candidates making for a closely contested race.

Congratulations to Hodge on being named the Week 7 Play of the Week winner, and thanks to everyone who participated in the voting.
