Indio has done it.

The Rajahs' remarkable run was capped off with a CIF championship, knocking off No. 1 ranked El Modena 9-8 in the Division 6 championship game on Saturday night at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.

This is Indio's first girls water polo title in school history.

Senior captain Mia Buelna led the way scoring four goals.

Seniors Jennifer Lopez and Sienna Rodriguez tallied four goals combined.

When it mattered most, Sadye Nava was the hero, scoring the game winning goal with only 20 seconds left.

Congratulations to Indio girls water polo and head coach Marcos Perez on this magical moment.
