Coachella Valley remembering holocaust victims ahead of International Remembrance Day
Saturday, Jan. 27, is International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
On Friday, hundreds in the Jewish community and their allies gathered at Palm Desert Civic Center Park to honor Holocaust victims.
The community prayed, sang worship songs, and highlighted the horrors of the Holocaust.
Six million Jews and millions of other Nazism victims lost their lives.
Palm Desert is Riverside County's sole city with a Holocaust memorial.
