A Cold Start to a Warming Trend!

The morning was dotted with Freeze Warnings throughout SoCal, including one that expired at 8 a.m. for the Coachella Valley, which saw lows well in the thirties this morning.

High pressure is ridging in behind a low that dropped temps well below seasonal averages, and now we'll see warmer weather progressively into the weekend before another significant change next week.

Highs this afternoon will best the numbers we saw yesterday (60 in Palm Springs and Thermal) by about 7 degrees.

Lows overnight will again be chilly, but nearly as cold as this mornings readings:

Into the weekend, we'll flirt with eighty degrees, then cooler weather returns on Monday and Tuesday, with a slight chance of showers in the Valley and throughout SoCal.
