The normal temperature for Palm Springs today is 67°. A ridge of high pressure will expand today through the weekend, keeping temperatures above the seasonal normal. Skies will also see plenty of sunshine through the weekend.

There will be some areas of gusty winds, mostly throughout the morning hours. These gusts will mostly remain below canyons and passes. Northerly winds through these areas will be 15-20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph through the morning then diminishing to 30 mph for gusts during the afternoon.

High's across the region today are expected to be nice and comfortable, reaching the lower 70's.

Temperatures will see a slight warming trend over the next few days as this ridge of high pressure continues to build.
