Thursday: cooler and breezier

FIRST-ALERT-LOGO-WEB_1532363112992_12522805_ver1.0_1280_720-1-500x321

Today was cooler than yesterday with a high temperature of 69° recorded in Palm Springs; but we're keeping the cooling going into tomorrow.

A low pressure system will be making its way across the state tomorrow bringing cool and wetter conditions to much of the southwest. Our desert looks to remain dry but light precipitation is expected in the mountains.

Wind will be the biggest impact from this storm system with the strongest gusts along mountain slopes. No watches or warnings are issued for this event.

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will be with us on Thursday with an abundance of sunshine returning in time for Friday.
