Cooler for the weekend, but still above average

Temperatures have finally started to cool down thanks to a trough of low pressure. That's also the reason for some clouds overhead.

While cooler, temperatures are still above average.

This low pressure system is also causing areas of gusty winds through the San Gorgonio Pass and on the valley floor Saturday evening.

The 90s stick around for the weekend, but high pressure will bring the low 100s back for the majority of the upcoming week.
