Excessive Heat Warning expires, temperatures slowly cool

The excessive heat continued Friday with Palm Springs recorded a high temperature of 109°. The ridge of high pressure that was keeping temperatures so hot will begin to break up this weekend. Temperatures will slowly start to cool.

Saturday will still be above average, but a couple degrees cooler.

Temperatures will be close to seasonal all next week, including a few days below average in the 90s!
