Incoming storm threatens weekend rain

A slow moving area of low pressure arrives this weekend, with the possibility of showers Saturday and Sunday, and more widespread rain on Monday.

Showers will be sparse over the weekend, but the more significant rainfall on Monday has prompted a First Alert Weather Alert for Monday, as we could see up to 0.25" of rain. That could result in street level flooding and travel issues.

Rainfall totals between now and Monday will be fairly light, and shouldn't pose a big threat to play at the AMEX Golf Tournament.

By Tuesday, the storm system clears out and highs return to the lower seventies.
