Excessive Heat Warning to Last through Tomorrow

Highs are going soar today, headed for 110 or hotter, as the Excessive Heat Watch becomes and Excessive Heat Warning, lasting into Thursday evening.

By Thursday evening an area of low pressure will moves towards the California Coast, enhancing winds and bringing some cooler numbers into play for Friday and the weekend.

Highs today (and tomorrow) will push near 110 degrees, so take the usual precautions against heat stroke and dehydration.

As we move into the weekend, daytime highs adjust nicely, falling into the mid-nineties for a few days, actually running a few degrees below average!
