The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
South Central Mohave County in northwestern Arizona…
San Bernardino County in southern California…

* Until 930 PM PDT /930 PM MST/.

* At 552 PM PDT /552 PM MST/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches
of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Lake Havasu City, Parker Dam, Alamo Lake, Cattail Cove State Park,
Black Meadow Landing Campground, Three Dunes Campground, Earp and
Big River.
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
