Snow! Rain! Fall Weather Visits SoCal

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m. for the mountains of Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties today with some impressive first of the year snow at the tops of local ridges.

Long Valley, Behind the Mountain Tram Station

On the Valley floor we picked up about what was expected from this storm system, anywhere from 0.10" to slightly over 0.50" of rain.

We'll see below-average temperatures for the next couple of days, but sunny and mid-seventies for the weekend. Next week, there's a chance of rain returning to the Southland in time for the Thanksgiving travel rush.
