Warmer temperatures for the rest of week

Headlines

A cold start to our Wednesday ensures us that the official start of winter is just 3 days away! The average low for today's date in Palm Springs is 44°, but this morning much of the valley floor was waking up to temperatures in the 30s!

High pressure building in the southwest will provide warmer and sunnier conditions to the Coachella Valley on Thursday.

The same ridge of high pressure will direct all moisture to the Pacific Northwest, bringing the threat of flash flooding there.

We will keep dry weather here in the Southland for the week. Our next chance at rain will begin Sunday night.

Enjoy the warmer afternoons into the start of the weekend. Another cooldown will begin Sunday with continued cooling through all of next week.
