Warm-up continues into Friday

Headlines

Palm Springs was five degrees warmer this afternoon than yesterday, recording a high of 68° at the Palm Springs International Airport.

Continued warming is forecast for the end of the workweek with a ridge of high pressure in place over Southern California. The Coachella Valley can expect high temperatures on Friday to climb into the low 70s. With another trough of low pressure on the way, tomorrow will be the warmest day of the week. Enjoy!

A sunny start to Friday with clouds increasing into the afternoon. Mostly cloudy skies will be present for the weekend ahead. Great conditions to be out and about around the desert for last-minute shopping needs for the quickly approaching holidays.

Beginning late Sunday, rain chances will enter the desert's forecast. Confidence is still low in rainfall amounts around the Coachella Valley but impact looks to be minimal.
