Warm, sunny, and feeling like April

The desert felt a big warm up today! Palm Springs climbed 6° following yesterday's high of 83°. It's warmer, but just five degrees above average, so not anything extreme.

High pressure will continue to keep the Coachella Valley warm, sunny and dry into Thursday as an area of low pressure will near the west coast.

As the next system moves into Southern California, we'll begin to feel breezy, and at times gusty, winds across the mountains and desert. This will also bring a notable cooling with highs dropping into the upper 70s.
