Gusty Winds Remain, Heat on Tap for Tomorrow

The winds have been very gusty despite the lack of a wind advisory, but those gusts remain steady at 25 to 40 mph. Whitewater, traditionally more windy, is holding true to that.

A weak area of low pressure is sliding through, creating the instability and gusty conditions. It will be far enough away tomorrow for winds to subside, and for temps to heat up as high pressure builds in.

Today, we'll continue to see highs in the mid-eighties, which is seasonally normal for the date.

As high pressure builds into the weekend, the highs will soar to more summer-like levels.

That will put our 7-Day temperatures into triple digits for few days as we endure an early bit of heat.
