Dangerous temperatures continue across valley

One degree shy of tying the record high for the date, Palm Springs recorded a high temperature of 105°. Not record-worthy but still 17° above normal.

The ridge of high pressure that's been with us since last week will linger for another day before moving east, allowing a chance for temperatures to cool.

An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect until 9:00 p.m. Thursday for all of the Coachella Valley. Remember to keep hydrated, especially if you are spending any time outdoors!

Breezy conditions begin Thursday evening and persist into Saturday. The 90s are in sight and so is the weekend!
